Hi Patty, I was just wondering if you ever found that ride. I'm heading up there much later (May) and don't have time to drive that far.

Hello, I saw your post about Texas to Alaska.
I worked for Denali Gift Co back in 08. I flew up, which was fine because the company picked me up and the drive you to and from work. But if you want to do anything else you have to hitch hike. and you live 10 miles from the entrance to the park.
I met my BF there and he had a car, he was the only one with a car. It turned out to be a good thing to have so we could go anywhere we wanted whenever we wanted. And there are tons of places to drive to, that otherwise you would miss out on.
I have now driven to and from AK many times, and will be doing it again in April. its a great drive, but not alone.
If you have any questions about the drive or the company, just let me know. Hope you have a great summer!
