Hometown:
Sunbury
Where have you lived and worked?
I served as a musician in the Marine Corps in Wash. DC for 8 yrs, then, while completing my degrees part-time at night, I worked as a correctional officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons at a max. security penitentiary. However, I don't fall into the stereotype that many people think of when they here these two jobs.
I taught in public/private schools for several years, and then started traveling.
I was the English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) teacher for the Spanish speaking players on the Cleveland Indians baseball team for two seasons, then was the teacher for the Ringling Bros. Circus (lived on train and traveled with them). I was also the English tutor for the 2011 #1 LPGA golfer, Yani Tseng, and also taught for Walt Disney World in Orlando.
Finally, I've taught for private & public schools, and for businesses as a freelancer in Europe and Asia.
About Me:
I was a HS teacher for several years, but after my daughter graduated I started traveling and teaching mostly in Europe and Asia.
I'm a mature, well experienced, organized and very dependable person.
Last Seasonal Job:
Freelance English teaching in Europe
Favorite Seasonal Job:
I find the positive in all my jobs regardless of length; no favorites.
Dream Job:
I like service jobs and prefer working outside of a cubicle.
