Yea, Ricky, let me know what you're interested in finding out about. I can give you a heads up right now on a few things about AK in the summers, though... the last 3 summers we've seen a pretty good amount of rain, so definitely have rain gear. I'm not sure how it was north of Anchorage, but in Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula it rained tons last summer. In Homer (where I fish) we didn't see more than 3 days of 70+ weather until the last week of July. However, once the weather decides to kick in to summer, it's on... get out and play. The sun doesn't go down (gotta get used to seeing a lot of daylight in the middle of the night), which kinda messes with you a little... but it gets you up in the morning. But yea, just let me know what else you need to know about, and sorry for the late add... not sure completely how to use the site yet, but getting there. Have fun, man!

The lodge is really nice. If your going there to wait tables don't exspect to bring in to much in tips. everything including gratuity is included in the price so most people won't tip. I personally did'nt like it there but I was there in the winter and I had no way to get out. all and all I would rate it at a 5 out of 10. Good Luck

Ricky - To be honest, i cannot tell you much. The only thing that kept me going back was how beautiful everything is! I hated working there the 2 1/2 seasons i was there. It never got any better...good luck, the activities are fun, and the scenary is gorgeous!!!
