Dude Ranch Questions

I am being offered a job at Drowsy Water Ranch in Granby, CO I was wondering if anyone has worked there, or on any dude ranch for that matter. What is day to day life like on a ranch. I want to get into mountain biking and wondering if there are trails around there to ride. Also i'm not really a western kind of guy I love the outdoors but I have only rode a horse like two times are other workers going to look down on me for that?

Working at Dornans hopefully I got questions

I have a phone interview next week for this place. I got an email for Tim i believe and he said by looking at the application I put in I have a good chance of getting the job which is a cook. I was wondering what the housing options are and is the pay to housing and food cost ratio worth taking the job. I know that these jobs are about getting out and doing outdoorsy things which I am excited for and ready to do, but also I need to be able to make money also. Any help on these questions is…See More

trying to get out of illinois

My girlfriend and I are seriously considering getting a summer seasonal job in Colorado. We both smoke and drink a little but we want to be able to have fun while we have days off. We are both very hard workers I went to culinary school and she does office work. I was wondering what would be a good place to start out at where we can have fun and would be a good transition into the seasonal job lifestyle any suggestions?
