Hey no problem that is what we are all here for! Last year I was the Bar Manager at Mountain Sky guest Ranch and this year I am the head server/pastry cook for Rio Blanco Ranch. Both great positions for guest interaction!

I have done ranches the last two summers and have honestly loved it. At first I would not even look at a ranch, but i have realized the err of my ways. The one bit of advice that i can give is to avoid the "corporate" places. I have found a lot of success with the smaller moms and pops. These places tend o treat you better and more often than not room and board is included as part of the compensation. For someone just graduating, such as myself, this is a great bonus as it allows you to save a lot more, or pay off some loans. The smaller places give you a chance to do and learn a lot more and you never know when an owner is looking for a new GM!

Well your degree is much more practical than my Poli Sci and Econ. At least here anyway lol! Well for the winter it can get kinda slow, there is always the ski resorts of the west and then there are ranches in Arizona that open up during the winter. Any particular interest that you would like to fulfill? Some area that you would really like to go and explore?

Welcome to CW Scarlett! Seems like you are busy for the summer but perhaps looking at your first seasonal gig. Any plans for the winter or are you going to stay in sunny Florida where it will still be warm?

About Me:
I recently graduated from UWF in Pensacola and so now I'm trying to find my place in the world, which leads back to Tampa at the end of July for the time being. I try to be a free spirit, not allowing little things worry me. I embrace the mistakes that I make and openly welcome new ones to take place in my life. It's all about living and learning. I want to some day travel the world and experience everything that life has to offer. Broadening my horizons and seeking a good adventure is a must for me. Trying new and exciting things, just living life to its fullest. Laugh and Smile a lot more and just have an all around awesome time
