How's it going everyone?! Seems like alot of you ended up in wyoming this summer. I gave it a try and the shoe just didn't fit so I'm looking for something else. Anyone know someone that is needing people to replace all the partiers they've fired ...

Regarding your questions about Pahaska:

The "crowd" that works there, last year at least, was pretty diverse. Big range of ages. Some of the younger people partied pretty hard, some of us older people were more relaxed and quiet.

The "crowd" that visits there, the customers, is mostly traveling families.

As for fruit and veggies in the Emp. Dining, yeah, there was usually a big salad or some vegetarian type dish along with the meals, and often oranges, apples and sliced melons. The cooks were also pretty open to requests, if you make them nicely.

Yes is my first time @ Yellowstone but I have been on seasonal work for the past 7 years. Worked many areas form guest ranches to cooking. Just now get to take a brake and have one that is not as dull or slow past as far as it is with things to do and friends to make. Just cant wate to get there now.

hey scott! of course i remember, still lookin huh? well i did a search for Pahaska in the forums, and everything seemed pretty positive about it, alot of people seem to like it. only negative i read was that you didnt' make much money (i guess on tipping?)... what kind of job are they offering you? seems like an awesome place and people form a sort of community from what i read.

I'll see if the front desk has any openings and I'll let you know. Since Sept. it's been quite hectic. Jumping from place to place can't really make up my mind as to where I want to be. Just passing time till I leave for AK in April.
