Hi Shere,

I am 69 and worked last summer in Glacier Park, my return there after a hiatus of some years. I have also worked in Grand Teton and Yellowstone as well as many other resorts. I'll cut to the chase and tell you about several of my favorite jobs.

Number one of all the resort hospitality positions since 1985 is the Lodge at Vail. It is a middle-sized hotel owned and operated by Vail Resorts, the company that runs the ski mountain. You can apply for that and see the dozens and dozens of other jobs they have open at all times at www.skijob1.com or 866-681-5455. Next would be Glacier Park Inc., one of the two main concessionaires in and around Glacier National Park. They typically have dozens of jobs at this time of year and the chance to be around the Blackfeet Indians in such a beautiful setting is like the Fountain of Youth. You can find them on the internet but they're opening this week so hurry right along. Finally, I'd have to say the better employers in Telluride, perhaps the Madeline Hotel and the Fairmont, are two quality employers with numerous seasonal openings. You can find them also on the internet. Good hunting.
