- I'm very adventurous and love getting into dang gone near everything. My friends and family think I'm crazy for always picking up and getting jobs in the most remote areas ( mainly Alaska) but I love it. I'm mixed with Jamaican, Irish, Panamanian and Asian but to keep things simple I merely tell people I'm black. I love dancing and will embarrass anyone who hates it if they go out with me. I'm not really into extreme sports but will never say no to anything until I try it at least once.

- Well to start things off your stranded on an island with no cars and it smells like horse crap everyday. Girls have it easy with housing right above the downtown fudge shop....the housing blows with only 1 TV/living room/kitchen shared by every single person living there. The guys have it rough our housing was 2 miles up 4 super steep hills. Anyways it gets extremely cold and windy also being on the straights of mackinac and all. The guy who does all the hiring/the family who owns the business you will work for are nice when you first meet them but dont give a damn about you after signing the contract. Also groceries are expensive as hell and no fast food or anything in that nature. Other than that is was alright...sucks riding a bike in the rain though :-) Pretty much the only good thing is the people like at most jobs you work with or see alot haha. Things are going good here I just moved in and already snow on the ground so will be doing some free snowboarding soon! GL on the Alaska job!

- holy crap Alaska??? Must of been a huge change for you living in Florida! But yea Mackinac Island was REALLY REALLY fun and REALLY REALLY bad at some points. Ill more then likely go back next season since its only 3 hours from my home town. Planning on working in West Virginia this winter at Snowshoe Mountain so keep in touch and let me know where you end up...if you have any questions let me know :-)
