Hmm I figured I was the only one in Georgia going to Alaska for the summer, but it's too bad I'm not workin for Grants village. Take it easy fellow Mariettian.
Hi Tessa, just noticed a different pic in my friends, good to see ya back on here. Congrats on the job! I'm heading out myself in the next week or so. Are you driving out there?
Im looking at going out to Wyoming by Grand Teton NAtional Park or Yellowstone. There is actually a little village in Grand Teton NAtional park called teton village that has alot of job opprotunities. Most of them give you free housing and you work for about 9 dollars an hour. Its a really cool little area with lots of kids our age. Good Luck :)
First, welcome to My Cool Works! Second, absolutely they'll hire you. Most employers tend to give preference to people who can work the whole season, but they also understand that getting a good quality person who can work the first half of the season is great too. If you are wanting to become a zoologist someday, you may want to try to work in a park famous for its animals like Yellowstone or Yosemite or Denali. I guess it just depends on how far away from home you're willing to go.
Happy Dreamin'!
Kari : )
