At 7:15pm on February 2, 2009, S Talley said…: Actually Kalalock was like the ONE area I didn't really investigate, but honestly I don't think you can really go wrong anywhere in that area, and if your job sucks you can always slip down to Lake Crescent Lodge, that's where I worked, they hire pretty regularly all year, and it was awesome right there on the lake, they have good rooming, and they've completely changed their management so it should be good this year from what I hear.

Be sure to check out Sequim when the strawberries ripen towards July.
Fourth of July is best at Neah Bay, on the Indian Reservation, where you'll most likely see a few eagles fly through.
And any day is perfect for 2nd beach (which in my opinion is the most gorgeous of all of'em).
And you can always camp out at Fairholme at the lake, it's a small fee (reduced for park workers) and the weekdays aren't very full of ppl, plus there's all the hiking trails.
