I second your emotion :) I love the seasonal work, have only been doing it for 2 years but I've met some amazing folks. Plus it's great when you can get some of the good friends you met to follow you to your next gig. Our own traveling community :D
In WA servers get basic minimum wage (around $8 an hour) plus tips. Great for them, but a server friend of mine always complained when tips were low... which irritated the heck out of me. Even though I made a slightly higher hourly wage, she alway...

- Grew up in Mass, worked for Walt Disney World in FL for 3 years, then started seasonal work at Steven's Pass (Skykomish, WA) and Seward Windsong Lodge (Seward, AK). Just finishing my second season at Steven's Pass and looking forward to my second season in Seward.
