hey thanks for good advice... seems i've only worked places where all the states want to tax ya to death, have a great day

i've worked in one state and lived in another before, tax time pain in butt. do you have to have a permante address? or just change it where ever ya go? (i'm a real bad speller by the way) thanks

Taxes are going to vary person to person and state to state. For myself, I have at times have had three different states...but I have never spent more than a half hour total. I don't have a permanent address...and that's actually easier tax time f...

Tax time is usually about the same level of difficulty...depending on where you go. Some states have no income taxes. Other states have varying definitions of what qualifies as a resident, partial year resident, and non-resident categories for tax...

- Yellowstone is a great place to work as i know a few people who have worked there for 3 or more years. I have worked in alaska for fishing camps but not any resorts or inns but can tell you it is an experience you wont forget with the scenery and people.

Western Alaska will be much more fishing (commercial) oriented but there are places to tend bar or work in remote lodges. Dutch Harbor is the main fishing town... Craigslist is a decent spot to look for work there although it is best (in my opinion) to call the Inns and restaurants and inquire when they hire for the season. April - May is a god time.
Seward, Homer, Cooper Landing, Anchorage, Fairbanks Chena Hot Springs, Talkeetna, GIRDWOOD (my favorite spot) all have a good restaurants and resorts to work at.Girdwood has a ski resort for winter (and housing to go with i) and is very busy in the summer. The blueberry picking, hiking, etc are great there. The people are great also.....

I will be happy to answer any questions you have.... If you can wait tables or tend bar that is where the best earnings are. Again, welcome :0)

- In the upper right corner there is a box. In that box there's a "Settings" link. When the Settings page loads, there is some listings to the left. Click on "My Page". Where it says Appearance there are several backgrounds to choose from.

- Well here i am really looking into all the infor i get on seasonal work, i always wanted to do this , now i'm older and really can get out there see the other side without guilt,, so any advice if greatly appriciated. i love the outdoors, wildlife and photography and not afraid of a little hard work... i am so ready to go
