hey shannon, i was just looking on craigslist and there are all kinds of jobs available. i am thinking about going out there after turkey day. i have applied to a few jobs, but i think it is one of those things that it would be better to be there....

my friend aaron called and got one at the last minute. i said that it was competitive at the popular parks, but there a lot of parks, rec areas, and monuments.

i know a lot of volunteers and there are benefits, like rides to and from trail heads (volunteers tend not to have cars), one day a week is a field day (which means you do an activity within the park), and you can count on your time off.

what about stevens. i know its not huge, but its close to seattle and very snowboard friendly. most of my friends that live in seattle have passes for stevens.
