i know of many dozens of places like this in and around yelloowstone. have you heard of the gravelly range? it is northwest of west yellowstone, you can drive to 9000 feet and if you climb black butte, you can see 20 mountain ranges, 3 states, and...
hey reggie, alyeska is a sweet place. i stayed in girdwood for awhile, but never worked there. the mountain has very low ligt in the winter, and it can be tricky to ski or board in that kind of lighting. either way good luck, it is a beautiful place.
i disagree with the racism part of your post, but then again i am caucasian. i have had MANY black friends in the parks and they never experienced any racism and some were eventually promoted to managerial positions.

yes you can buy just about anything in the park for a slightly higher cost, and outside the park at a normal price.

cabin fever
so it has been YEARS since my last seasonal job, and yet i still find myself checking this page, looking at new jobs, rethinking scenarios over and over in my head about certain situations... it is like a disease. but now, after "settling down" and "domesticating" myself for the whole notion of the american dream, i have come to see that it is not me, not what i ever wanted for myself or my girl, and in the future, not for my family.
