I've lived here for twelve years, originally I'm from the greater Chicago area. I've had eclectic job experience, from professional writer/reporter to night auditor at a five star hotel. I live year round in a popular summer vacation destination. I'm thinking of leaving and working elsewhere in the winter months.

A flight canceled today, and I got stuck on standby and after getting bumped 3 times, i gave up. I guess it's not meant to be this fall. Bummer!!!

I'll be on the Island Tuesday, Sept. 18 - Friday the 21st. I'm staying at the Island House but am going to come to The Iroquois to meet Marti and check it out. Those guys have used our site for 10 years. Hopefully we can meet. I'll drop you another message once I'm there and sort out my plans/commitments.
