the snow will melt and we will all bloom

hello my future friends and fellow world wonderers. i know that this time of year is an incredible one for a summer employee.....everyone saying goodbye to friends and family and bills and problems and crowds and sameness.......hitting the open road and taking on everything in front of you, singing and smiling all the while. life feels refreshed

i just wanted to wish you all luck in the travels and transitions, the meeting of coworkers and roomates, the settling into your new temporary lives.

Hey Ryan,

I hope that your summer is still going well. I'm not sure how much time you have left at Firehole. Enjoy whatever is left. : )

I just wanted to let you know that I mentioned you in my recent blog post - A reflection on the summer of 2009. Safe travels to wherever the road leads you now.

Best,
Kari

A misunderstanding for sure. When I said I hope to see you in September with the crew,I meant with Robbie, Ladich, and Charles. As I hear - they're gonna saddling up and heading to visit you around the 20th. Ive been invited. If I have to miss out on that trip I wish you well in the QUA, QUE, QUI....quary. I know you'll enjoy it. If you meet a girl there - dont pretend to be a foriegn exchange student. PS I got to take a drift boat down the rogue river and fish this weekened after picking up some farm work in Grants Pass.

hey ryan. I like the picture you are using for your cool works profile. Been in portland for almost 3 weeks now. its official - I am no longer a melting pot employee. I pick up dish shifts I guess but no other work with them. Its time to move on. Hope to see you in sept with the rest of the crew.
