pannamint springs

panamint springs is advertising for cooks and housekeeping. If you consider yourself a professional cook, don't bother with this place. The hardest thing that's cooked there is a burger. yep, it's a tourist deadend over priced pizza slop house. Just outside of the employee housing area is a junkyard of old broken down kitchen, store supplies, vehicles and general B.S. Area. Next to the living area is a polluted little creek and what they call a pool. the pool is full of some kind of growth.…See More

Cooks can easily find work there at this time of the year. All is well. So if anyone is heading that way now and needs a ride. just yell. I'm in Madison for the nite, then I'm going to a friends up by Fargo tomorrow, then across to where I guess I belong. cya in the funnies...

p.s. I have a pickup…

back to seasonal??

Posted on January 13, 2011 at 10:22am 4 Comments

decisions, decisions! I'm making excellant $$ where I'm at, but have been talking to a company about working for them, yep! it's seasonal. Driving a bus carrying peeps to the new river in W. Va. for their whitewater trips. I won't mention the company cause I didn't find them here on coolworks. It's the usual gig, housing (I have my motorhome so I'll be in it), not the best pay, but not the worst either. Lot's of new people! Lots of fun, doing one of my favorite things, (whitewater) in one of…

I was in Hanoi. But it seems to me that things changed a lot since you were in Vietnam... Cities develop, become more open to tourism, what in its turn changes the whole face of the country. I heard a lot of really scary stories about Vietnam before I went there, and I'm so happy now backpackers and tourism-bloggers bust these myths.
