This is for people who have never worked in a restaurant before. You are the worst customers to wait on. This should teach you some basic customer etiquette to ensure a happy waitress!

Grand Canyon south rim was not has good as I thought. The People in Housing do not Care as well as the managers. Housing puts you in small rooms with one other roomate or some times two roomate. winter work is slow and your hours will get cut. you will be able to make any money whatsoever. the prices on items at the general store are outragous. the nearest towns are 1 hour away. during the summer you do work alot of hours so that is the only good part about it. i would not recommand anyone to… Continue

Winter is about over, Spring is in the air in the desert. We have had some nice rains this winter and the desert is far greener than I thought it would or could be. The bushes that looked dead are green with life and ready to put on a show of color. I have not done much beyond eating and sleeping this whole winter. I did reads some good books. This summer I will be working at the Sheep Mountain Lodge in Alaska. It's located along the Glenn Highway, but it's 60 miles to the nearest town center.
Some days my primary job will be as Prep/Breakfast cook. Other days my primary job will be as Baker. Neither position is a just only spot.

O yes the great waiting game!
You send all those email with resume maybe a photo and a nice little cover letter trying to sale your self to a company. Or my favorite filling out those apps on there websites, they are all the same or when they send you a PDF. to fill out and they have not saved it to were a person can fill out the fields.
Now I am at my second stage on some jobs and no word on others.
