Today was a productive day. I applied for my passport. And then later on that day I sent in my employment offer back to DV3 Corporation. I am immensely excited now. All I have left to do is prepare my truck, and prepare myself for this coming summer.
My truck needs it's emissions testing and registration done. Prior to departing for my Alaskan adventure I have to get my truck serviced and tires rotates. Alaska is far enough away that I may have to schedule maintenance in Fairbanks as…Continue

I had prepared all of my documents including my passport photo which I purchased from Walmart.
When I woke up this morning I tied up my hair, washed my face and body and headed to the post office. I arrived at 930am and was in line until 1245pm.

While I am working in Denali I am going to maintain my apartment in Salt Lake City, Though I am at the cusp of finally pouring money into my trip. I am so relieved to feel temporary succor from…Continue

Very excited at being offered the position of Banquet Manager at the Basin Harbor Club in Vermont for the 2018 Summer season. This will be my first seasonal gig, and am finding I am both excited and scared at the same time, which I think is healthy. I will be giving up my home and putting everything in storage, so will have no "home base", which is the scary part. My plan is to work seasonal jobs for one to two years and will travel or visit family between gigs. I have never been able to…Continue
