Its been a long journey, begining in January I started my search for summer employment. I found a strong calling to go to Alaska and felt it could be a life changing expierence. After many applications and some interviews I acctecpted a job at Coldfoot Camp located 60 miles north of the artic circle. I am starting out at Rio Blanco Ranch on June 1 +/- 2 days. So my girl friend and I, or rather me really decided that it was necessary to take a little bit of time to reach our destination. In an attempt to please me, distract me or simply just not have to do it herself she leaves me with the sole responsibility of planning the trip. Really? Well I'm off to the Gran Canyon this mooring and starting my road trip to the Park, I'll try and keep this updated as the summer goes and when I can etc. I'll start out heading to Twins Falls in day one drive. I'm sure excited to get all the way down there and start the season already but it is gonna take me two full days off driving and so forth .
