Alaska Ideas Wanted

I'm currently writing a novel, the first book in a trilogy is already published over at Kindle. Its fun, and I'm having a great summer. A friend told me about this when I worked in the Grand Tetons last May. I've already uploaded my other books and made money.

But, I'm thinking about Alaska now. I think its all Aggies fault.

Ode to Camping

I thought I would depart from my "Ranger Rants" series, and add a short piece regarding camping. As some of you know, I have not been a big fan of camping.....in fact it would not be too strong to say I detested camping. However my recent trip to the Grand Canyon has definitely changed my perspective on the subject. What changed? Ranger Rich Rants ... Volume 7

I just returned from the Grand Canyon. How do you describe something that is simply indescribable? If you haven't seen the Grand Canyon .... go see it. You will not believe your eyes. The incredible power of water over a few million years. It took me 6 hours to drive to the canyon, but let me tell ya .... it was worth every second behind the wheel. Ranger Rich Rants .... Volume 6

It's just about time to Meetup at Grand Canyon South Rim!!!! I'll be at Mather Campground August 26-27 ... please drop in and say Hi! I'll have some adult beverages iced down, and a great campfire. Planning for 2012

As of March 2012, I will have been at GCSR (Grand Canyon South Rim) for 5 years, which means I will get 3 weeks of paid vacation time. I guess it seems like I have been 'stuck in a rut' lately and its probably because of being in a place for so long; because hey let's face it...this is the longest I have stayed in 1 spot for a very very long time.

What's the difference between a grave & a rut? Nothing, just depends on how deep you dig the hole.

The Jackson Meetup .... WOW ..... what an absolute blast that was! Those of you that blew it off .... OOPS! You missed it big time.
