Living & Working in Great Places
We left Mesa Verde National Park on Thursday, August 9th after a quick stop in the Far View Visitor Center to see Ranger Rich. If you want to see this cool / 1960s visitor center, get there soon. A new visitor center is being built right now and will open this fall.…Continue
After being practically jobless for 3 months, my spirits have been low. I have been in somewhat of a depressed state. My friends being my only momentary reprieve from these feelings. I have felt bored, but no drive to do anything, I have felt exhausted, drained, and glum.
It seems as if I have put in applications everywhere... time and again. I've had interviews, only to find out I am overqualified, under…

Just curious, for everyone at various different locations, what are the best pet-friendly places to work and why? .... I'm debating on saving up so I can work next summer with perhaps a camp trailer so I can bring my dog along!
I'll definitely add more photographs later of Jellystone and Grand Tetons, but I did want to share photos of the long time Cool Workers I met finally.

We had an awesome…Continue
I left Beech Bend on August 1st as conditions were not being met as described to me. I was hired for a games attendant and was supposed to be kept out of the extreme heat and sun due to medical reasons; and was assigned jobs in the extreme heat; but kept out of the sun. After three work days was moved to rides operation because they didn't hire enough people of legal age. They also don't want ride operators to enforce the safety rules of the rides.
