Sequoia National Park

Living in Sequoia National Park, not once but several different seasons was one of the highlights of my life. Those trees radiate life. The people you work with are a great bunch, and you just have fun in general. Watching the wildlife alone was an awesome way to pass the time, as well as hiking in Crescent Meadow, climbing Moro Rock, sitting on Beetle Rock, even just sitting at Giant Forest watching people peel themselves off the seat, asking, do we have to go back that same way?? was fun.… Continue

Taking the Long Way Home - 230 miles through the Tetons & Yellowstone on a gorgeous fall day.

I had a meeting at the Murie Center, in Grand Teton National Park, on Friday and Saturday. That's a story in itself. What a historic location, a place with an amazing and important story. We spent some time in a cabin that has seen 5 US Presidents and many more movers and shakers. Olaus and Mardie Murie were among the first environmentalists - the force behind creating the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and much much more.

Volunteer work for a pet lover!

I started out training and showing ponies then turned to singing and touring in a band. Due to injury I set up a work from home business. I want to do some volunteer work with abused ponies as I have done this before. This is a fantastic site with opportunity flowing through its veins

Looking for camp work

We are looking for Camp Work in Florida for the winter. We lived in the Tampa Bay area for 20 years. Our kids live in St. Petersburg and Jupiter Fl. We are retired professionals. My husband was in Law Enforcement for 38 years and I a Real Estate Agent. My husband is a great cook and currently volunteers for a soup kitchen. Any sugestions of how to go about finding work in exchange for a RV spot would greatly be appreciated. We would also be open to volunteer work.…

"Vacation" Between 2010 Jobs

Like the past few spaces between jobs, I have a short time span later this month.

This summer I have been working with the Denali Gift Companies...and if the name doesn't tell you...it's one of the companies in the canyon development area just outside the entrance to Denali National Park in Alaska. There are three stores that are part of the company, and yeah, we're the ones that have the lit up billboards and neons that the locals refer to it as Glitter…
