Just a quick note of Aloha!

Living in Seattle, it is sometimes important to get out of the city and weather so one can make it all the way through the winter...well, at least that's how I operate. So I just want to share a little bit of what I left last week before heading to Kauai for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving - One More Time

When I left Texas about three years ago, I thought that all I had to do was step outside of my own shawdow and friends would fall right at my feet so when Thanksgiving came around, I would have many eating good food and sharing a great holiday.

This year, that won't be happening. The friends I've made over the years are spread far and wide and they won't be joining me for Thanksgiving. So all I can do is wish each and everyone of you, where ever you are, a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving…

Surviving my first seasonal job

First seasonal job as a "Jammer" in Glacier National Park...not a bad way to start!

This is gonna be short, I may add more later....

It was a great experience driving the famous red busses around Glacier all summer.

I will never forget it. Once things got moving, past trainging etc., the summer was alot

Look for the South Pole Crew on the "Today Show" this Week!

Sunday afternoon at 3pm, and we are still at the South Pole due to weather delays at Pole and McMurdo.

My replacement was delayed by one day to arrive on October 30. The Today Show has been cancelled as they did not make their window of opportunity due to bad weather. The Today Show was to arrive on Wednesday or Thursday to quickly film the Growth Chamber, our…

November 2007

Winter is approaching quickly! 23 degrees this
morning! The ski area is starting to make snow and I am gearing
up for another season of trying to achieve my goal - the ultimate tele
turn. I wonder if I ever reach it if I'll want to give up
