Long time gone - but back!

Well - I have been off the blog for a LONG time!!

I moved from Ketchikan to Kenai, Alaska. Got a job at the Kenai Convention & Visitors Bureau as the assistant to the executive director. That was so fun, since the Kenai Visitors Center is not just an info spot but also the city museum, a meeting space and a gift shop. On the Move Again

Well I handed in my 2-week notice at work last night :) Manager was a bit surprised and co-workers are all asking "why???"

Not sure why everyone is so surprised cuz I have been searching for new jobs for months, so all this should not be new news to anyone...least not anyone who has heard me talk at work or seen my postings on facebook for the last few months.

Yes, I can be a roomie from Hell

I wasn't always crazy about sharing a room with ex's either and

 believe me sharing space with any other roomie isn't all that

much different...especially after years of having a room to myself.

I promise to complain about the temp of the room especially if you keep

the windows open and a fan going all night during the cold season...and

"cold season" is whenever I feel cold. So don't be surprised when I get

a space heater and crank it up.

Bear Lodge

The place is a rip off. They pay horrible salaries. 750 a month and I have over fifteen years of cooking experience. There long term staff mostly rude as well.
