Just wanted to post here quickly that my adventure is finally starting. I am typing this in the computer room of the Grand Canyon International Hostel in Flagstaff, Arizona, where I am spending the night. Tomorrow at eight am I catch a shuttle up to the Grand Canyon where I process through HR and get assigned housing etc and begin my adventure up by the big hole in the ground. Today it is 9/13, the middle of September. The weather in Phoenix has dryed out a bit and cooled off and right around the corner, maybe about four weeks away, the temps will once again cool off to the point where many people would consider it nice to be here. Usually I am very happy to see this time of the year as it means things will pick up, the utility bills will go down, life will once again be more pleasant here.
