Cool Works ® 24/7-11 - Blogging, Photo & Video Event This Friday, July 11th

It's July already. How on earth did that happen? I can already hear the sighs of relief from those doing summer jobs thinking we've made it half-way. Well, to help you get through the hump of the summer where it seems that everyone now knows their jobs and might even be a bit tired of answering the same question for the millionth time, we want to distract you with something fun.

Cool Works ® 24/7-11 - A Fun Blogging, Photo & Video Event!

Capture your world by taking at least one photo or video from wherever you are that day or by writing about your world and posting a blog on My CoolWorks. Our goal would be to have blogs/photos/videos from each hour of the day. That means that if you work the night shift or live in Australia, Asia, Europe, breakfast in the eastern US, mid-US, western US, Alaska, Hawaii (Palmyra!), teaching English in Asia, TAKE A PHOTO! WRITE A BLOG! RECORD A VIDEO! Show and tell us where you are and what you're doing. Help those of us who can't get to Mackinac Island this summer or the Everglades by showing us what it's like by jogging down a few thoughts or taking a quick photo or video of where you are.

Ways To Participate:

* Post photos as comments on the event page - by clicking the "add a image" button.

* Add a photo - lots of links to do that - and tag it with CW 24/7-11

* Write a blog post about something you did on July 11 - and tag it with CW 24/7-11

* Add a video and tag it with CW 24/7-11

* Tell your friends to take a photo/video or write a blog, and definitely tell them about My CoolWorks!

And, we've got another iPod to giveaway so..... each person who enters either a photo or video taken on July 11 or writes a blog post about something they did or thought about on July 11 will receive one iPod ticket.

Mini-Rules:

* Photos and videos must be taken on Friday, July 11 and uploaded by Monday, July 14.
* Blog posts must be added by Monday, July 14, but should be about something that happened on Friday, July 11.
* Every participant will receive one iPod ticket.
* The winner of the iPod will be announced on Tuesday, July 15.
