Well maybe not exactly...but it's one of my favorite western titles...
Signal Mountain Lodge, Grand Teton NP---Summer '06
One of my first views from the employee dining room...looking at the marina office and the mountain range.
The Good: Other than the possible "uglies" below...just about everything. The employee dining was very good 90% of the time (there are times when personal preferences will get in the way, where the food although good is just not what you're looking for) But there's always a vegetarian selection, snacks, plenty of time. Mail is delivered to the resort and are in alphabetical slots in the dining room. Management does an excellent job of maintaining the work-time and personal-time...not always easy to do when you live on-site. They'll always make sure you have your time off, and encourage new explorations. Big time off activities on-site: volleyball, beer pong, boat trips, softball, horseshoe tossing. Big time off-site: the park, duh The green environmental program is taken seriously. It's small enough you will know something about everyone, but big enough you don't have to be around anyone ALL the time. There is a wide cross-section of employees from across the country to a few internationals.
The Bad: Housing is a bit small in dorm situations...(but if you go there to hide in your room, you're probably not going to have a good time anyway)
The Ugly: (good or bad depending on your view) They definitely take the drug use policy and testing seriously...that includes under-age drinking. There are two speeds at work--busy and very busy.
