Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

Today I said farewells to my young brother, for he is off to the Army. As I watched him go, I remember being in his place 25 years ago. The pride, fear, relief, joy, uncertainty, I could only imagine what he was feeling. He is about to embark on his journey to adulthood in a major way. He will be sorely tested. It is going to be an adventure for him...hopefully a safe one.

What will he be like the next time I see him? When will that be? For how long? Will it be? These questions don't seem to have an answer. Now I know how my mom felt... but I did the same thing and it was necessary for me. I know this holds true for him also.

I don't particularly know why I put this on the blog because technically it is not about coolworking. I think his desire to see the world and his desire to experience the world gives him the same characteristics though, so I will use it as an excuse. I guess I am just both proud and worried...

Thanks for the comments, amigos. It felt good to write that. Thank you Juni, I think that life is a learning process. I think that one gets old only when they stop learning...
