Living & Working in Great Places

Read "Indoor Nation" on Cool Works' Blogging the Dream

I just read Scott Herring's blog post "Indoor Nation" and wanted to make sure that members of My CoolWorks read it too. He mentions Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv, which is one of my favorite books about getting children outside and why it's so important.

For those of you going to work in the national parks this year, good on ya! Keep the love of the wilderness alive and help others to discover it too.

It was sad... I remember visiting family this winter and watching several of my nieces, all sitting next to each other and conversating through myspace. I didn't get it; I hope I never will. Remember, Kari, when I told you about speaking to a good friend in Montana and the both of us wondering if we are we the last of a dying breed?
