Living & Working in Great Places

I just read this article by Mary Ellen Slayter from the Washington Post about individuals with Master's degrees having a more difficult time getting entry level positions. Knowing that many jobs in the seasonal world are entry level, I am wondering if there are any of you out there with graduate degrees who have experience trouble getting a job. Have people told you you're too qualified? Has anyone expressed to you their fear about you leaving after 3 months?

You can read the article here.

Can you believe it's Memorial Day weekend already? I can't. Bring on the tourists - the summer season has officially begun!

I was just told the other day I was overqualified... I prefer well-qualified.

Advanced degrees can cause problems, but not only the graduate degrees, extensive experience can cause problems as well. Trying to change career fields is almost impossible after you have 10 or 15 years experience in one field.
