My CoolWorks Rules

My CoolWorks is intended for a community of employees, alumni, job seekers and interested observers. My CoolWorks is provided in the hope that all parties will derive benefit from your collective contributions. While everything that is communicated here need not be serious, a certain level of professionalism and civility is expected.

Users must refrain from posting content that contains the following:

• Profanity
• Sexual, ethnic, racial, or other discriminating slurs or content
• Irrelevant or non-constructive content that adds no value to the discussion or community
• Material that goes beyond profanity into obscenity or abhorrence, or is simply gratuitous
• Material targeting individuals in a negative or derogatory fashion, unless such individuals have otherwise been covered in the media.
• Do not post names of individuals.
• Proprietary information, trade secrets, or confidential information that is the property of any other individual or entity, without the permission of such individual or entity (on request from the owner of such information)
• Any posts which claim a false identity or misrepresent its source
• Extended flame wars are not permitted
• Advertisements or other commercial messages. This includes posting of job openings or other recruiting activities by employers. To promote your jobs, or events visit our main site: CoolWorks.com.

Respect the community. Do not harm the community, or through inaction allow it to come to harm.

Respect others. If you see disrespectful behavior, report it rather than further inflaming the situation.

Before you write, seed, or comment, ask yourself if your contribution increases the strength and virtue of the community.

Although Cool Works® has no obligation to do so, we do monitor content posted on My CoolWorks and we reserve the right to edit or delete content and/or users that violate the above rules, or in Cool Works® sole discretion appear to violate such rules.

The opinions expressed by users on My CoolWorks reflect the opinions of the participants and not those of Cool Works®.
