I have completed my first seasonal contract and can't wait to go back. The job at Furnace Creek was withdrawn. They are asking for full time employment and I don't want full time. I don't mean 40 hours for a few months, I mean day in and day out for 12 months a year type fulltime. At this time in my life I just want to work for a few months then go do something else some place else. But this has been a summer to remember. I have worked with some wondeful people. People you want as life friend. Then there are those you hope don't come back into your sight. But those are few and far between. The most important thing I have learned is to end my contract so you have time to get to the next job. I did not this year and missed out on some winter jobs. I also opened up to the idea to put my RV in storage and drive to a job and live in their dorm. Winter jobs would be too cold in the RV but I could do the dorm life just fine. So this summer has certainly been a learning curve making me think outside the box. I prefer the RV to live in but I don't have to have it for a short period of time. All in all it has been a blast.
