Living & Working in Great Places

Kari Quaas

A little bit about Art Koff and RetiredBrains.com

I just wanted to highlight a member on our social network, Art Koff, who is the founder of RetiredBrains.com, a Cool Works partner, and also, is the author of a book called Invent your Retirement: Resources for the Good Life, which I quickly read through and believe to be a great resource for those retiring soon and those who hope to retire someday.

Art and I met in person at the Kennedy Recruiting Conference in November 2008 and he is a true leader in the Older and Bolder crowd. It is my hope, that those members and job seekers who consider themselves to be Older and Bolder, get to know Art and check out his website. I for one am glad that I met him and look forward to our continued partnership in the years to come.

Just a quick note and confession, that I read the book quickly because my dad, an older and bolder who loves to travel, is returning tonight from his cruise and I meant to pass this book along to him much earlier. Oops. I'm definitely glad that I had the opportunity to read it, though, and hope my dad will enjoy it too.

Update: Art and I reconnected in April 2009 on his visit to Seattle for a wine pairing dinner at La Medusa Restaurant featuring Mannina Cellars wines. Fun was had by all. :)
