In exactly 44 days, 13 hours, and 25 minutes, I will be boarding a Delta Airlines plane out of Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport and after a long day of layovers in Atlanta and Salt Lake City, I will finally touch down in Bozeman. I"m pretty excited about going back to Montana and Wyoming. The last time I was there was back in 2009 when I was sixteen years old. I went as a tourists with my best friend and her family. We rented a mini-van and spent ten days driving around Montana and Yellowstone Stone National Park. Even before then, I wanted to come stay out there. Now I get to live there for at least six months! While I am excited I am a bit apprehensive too. I've lived away from home for six months before but that was a short 3 1/2 hour drive away. Now I'm going to be living 2,279 miles away from home. It's a scary thought. If something happens, I won't be able to just hop in a car and head straight home. My parents won't be able to come visit me frequently like they did when I lived in Lynchburg. I won't know anyone at all. I have also never flown by myself. I've always had an older adult with me. I'm not afraid of planes but I'm afraid of getting lost in the airports or missing my flight. And when I arrive in Montana, being on my own for two days. I honestly am just a bit apprehensive. Sorry for this long rant. I just needed to get it off my chest.
