I'm thinking about Lake Crescent Lodge for this coming summer 09. Anybody worked there...good/bad. It's beautiful and I was just hoping living and working there would be a good time.
Thanks gals/guys.
I just downloaded the application for Crescent Lodge. I've applied to 3 other jobs in hopes that there will be at least one offer if not 2 or 3. Lake Crescent looks gorgeous. As for the drama, each season is unique. There will be a new work crew coming in, and I might be among them if I'm offered a job. I'm curious about the housing. Dorms? Those always spell disaster. I'm hoping I can camp out or else sleep in the car, which I've done in the past at other resort jobs. If anyone here is still working at Crescent Lodge, we'd all love to hear from you.
Ya know that sounds a bit Like the North rim lol. it was insanity up there last season. And same company to. we had some that got into some situations so they quit first. hmmm makes me wonder if that is the norm for all Forever properties. It was fun at times to though. Our worst if you will is that we had to deal with the big man himself, Rex, not saying he was the problem but you knew when he was comming because they hyped attitude and so on.
It wasn't the housing itself - it was just the madness and drama surrounding employee's in employee housing. A lot of the madness at Lake Crescent Lodge had to do with the management staff - it is my understanding they all are gone (fired) so who knows what will happen next season?
wonder if the housing there is as bad as at the North Rim. Only decent place to stay there at the NR is the new dorm. But considering it was Forevers first season maybe renavations will be considered at some point
I was called by someone from Lake Crescent at the beginning of the summer. I know its a Forever resorts property. I didn't go there instead to The grand Canyon North rim, but The gentleman I spoke with seemed pleasent enough to speak with.
Hey Jordan, Thought I recognized you picture. Agnes is still alive and swimming.
Lake Crescent is located in a most amazing setting. We drove by it once years ago on our travels.
