Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

decisions, decisions! I'm making excellant $$ where I'm at, but have been talking to a company about working for them, yep! it's seasonal. Driving a bus carrying peeps to the new river in W. Va. for their whitewater trips. I won't mention the company cause I didn't find them here on coolworks. It's the usual gig, housing (I have my motorhome so I'll be in it), not the best pay, but not the worst either. Lot's of new people! Lots of fun, doing one of my favorite things, (whitewater) in one of my favorite places, I'll be able to have 5 months off each year to go sailing to the carribean......HAHA, I just talked myself into it!.. Guess I'll be giving my boss notice in April!  LIFE IS GOOD!

Back to the seasonal life for me!!

Yea, the rivers are awesome there, I've paddled kayaks and rafts on the New River quite a few times and the Gauley once. I thought I was gonna need one of the spine boards after landing upside down at sweets falls.

The carribean is for relaxing mostly,  the only work I'll do there are some sailing charters and lifting a bottle of captain once in a while..

I'm looking at a new/used (new to me) sailboat now, a 37 footer. o the good life..

Sailing the ciribbean?...  hmmm  It's been Alaska for me so far, but I could see sailing and working in the Caribbean.

Thas' Right !  The excitement IS contagious . I ran the New several times in '04 . The Gauley though....wow , was fortunate enough to run it fast with a great Guide . That was in '95 - the spine boards lashed to trees every 100 meters is a vibrant memory . Sounds like a fun gig Ken and the Caribbean , Ya Mon
