Get involved with your co-workers and new friends! Consider board or card games for cheap entertainment during rainy weather. Also, you don't need alcohol to have fun with others. It can be even more fun when you have your wits about you.

Pre-book and pre-pay hotels/motels to get the greatest discounts. If you have a laptop and wifi connection you can do this the night before each stop. Consider joining a hotel loyalty club so you can get reward points towards free stays in the future.

for most though laundry facilities are free and buying food out side the edr is just spending more money. Your already paying for 3 meals a day unless your in a camper, even then most places have discounts if people in RV'S want to eat in the edr. If u go on a trip go with others and pitch in to save your money.

Stock up on dry goods/groceries/snacks before you leave. Mac & Cheese, Boil-in-bag rice, canned vegetables. Freeze perishables (like bread, cheese, and meats) to extend shelf live. Go on hikes or bike rides for entertainment during your day off (they're great exercise, free, and fun, too)! When appropriate, wear your clothes (pants/shirts) more than one time before washing them in the laundry.
