Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!

I'm still in the interview process, but have a final phone interview tomorrow with the fine people up at Coldfoot.  I've done some pretty intensive research about the place, working there, and all the likes, but I would love it if someone who has worked a summer up there could fill me in on what it's really like.  I am beyond excited, and keeping my fingers, toes, and eyes (lol) crossed for a job offer tomorrow. Anyone who hasn't been but maybe has spent a summer in Alaska that has some advice on what it's like, what to bring, etc, is welcomed to comment as well.  It's my first attempt at seasonal work, and if I get the job, it will be my first time even in Alaska.

Thanks in advance friends

I was at Coldfoot, Alaska back in 2009. Just as a state park camper. It's a very nice place and the truck stop gas station is very good. The co woerkers guess have fun together.

A social network for those who want to compare and share their work and life experiences in great places.
