My Recent summer!

Well Befor the summer of 09 started I was very excited to actually be going back to the North Rim, and granted it is an awsome place to see, but once the season got rolling it just went down hill from there. Almost the entire season just did not feel right and there are several folks that worked the 08 season also that will testify to this. It was not exactly something you can put your finger on and say exactly what was odd and wrong but it was out there and it lasted untill the day I said no more and left. Yes, me the brager the big talker up and quit. go ahead jump on my case but it is already said and done and all I can do is go on with what ever. From the get go there was little things that I just did not like about this year and some of the things grew to bigger proportions and then swept under the rug which just add to the feelings of this years bad ora. When you make food and then use excuses like it was an accident that is just pathetic. No I will not go into detail on that one, but lets just say if you ever seen me eating beef after this it was extremely rare, and I am a major meat eater. For those of you that do read this and are considering the North Rim as a possability please don't hesitate to try it. Don't let what I type here make you think twice because I did work the summer of 08 and it was completely different. I did like most of it and even this summer had some really great times in it such as meeting new friends and the fun times on trips and activities. Not everyone is going to like everyone and not everyone can work out togther right and this year was no exception, but I will say even though there are some hard feelings with some folks against others both of wich I liked I still like ya. Mike and Daisy, especially you Ms. Daisy if you do read this I want you both to know I am sorry I didn't stick it out and I never had any bad feelings about either of you. I more or less left because of an entirely different situation surrounding the store.

Anyway again for those that are considering the North rim of the grand canyon, which is now under the leadership of Forever resorts I would say go for it. Who know's next year could be totally different as both my years were completely different.
