Living & Working in Great Places

Winter is about over, Spring is in the air in the desert. We have had some nice rains this winter and the desert is far greener than I thought it would or could be. The bushes that looked dead are green with life and ready to put on a show of color. I have not done much beyond eating and sleeping this whole winter. I did reads some good books. I have taken some side trips each month but all in all I have rested. Lost a brother this last Nov. but did get to visit with him before I came West. One never know when life is going to hand you something you don't want. But handle it we must. But if you can rejoice in a birth of child then you have to except the death of a loved one. Time and life waits for no one.
Have my job for the summer at Mt. Rushmore. As long as I enjoy those that I work with I will keep coming back. I will leave this area during the first 10 days of April and return back here the first of Oct. I have decided for a while I will only work the summer months. But that is not set in concrete.
But it is my plan. One has to have a plan. I enjoyed the winter and the people that are staying at the same park. Most are Canadian but they have been fun to be around.

You will be leaving soon for Mt Rushmore, have a safe trip up. I hope to meet you after I arrive June 25th. You do have a plan, and I agree it is a good one.
