The Struggle:
I am keeping on keeping on. The struggle to get to Alaska is real. First I must send my $200 deposit for housing and other papers back to DV3 Corp. Secondly I must obtain a passport ASAP because I am driving to Denali through Canada. And third I would like $800 for gasoline.

While I am working in Denali I am going to maintain my apartment in Salt Lake City, Though I am at the cusp of finally pouring money into my trip. I am so relieved to feel temporary succor from financial responsibilities.

I have not given notice at work because I need to money before I go so until May 1, 2018 I must keep this secret. I cannot express my excitement to go to Denali. Maybe I shouldn't get too excited before I have met the basic requirements for this mighty endeavor and Journey.

Its as if for now the news of my trip is sacred. I need to guard it as I don't want anything to compromise my summer.
