Living & Working in Great Places
Thanks for being here! The six of us at CoolWorks welcome you and wish you success in finding your Jobs in Great Places®!
I've gotten a lot done today. After church and lunch, I started going through my stuff. I set out and labeled three boxes of clothes: Leave at Home, Donate, Bring with me. After I finished going through my dresser, closet, and plethora of clothes on my bedroom floor, I started packing. I picked out some clothes i am going to bring with me but I am going to wear the next four weeks. I'll pack them the night before I leave. Then I folded all the leave home clothes and put them back in my closet and dresser. Next, I started loading my left over clothes into space bags. Those bags are a dream! I already have three bags full and there is still room in my suitcase! I am thinking of running to Walmart tomorrow and buying more. I am also planning on mailing my iron, ironing board, ironing starch, and shampoo/conditioner ahead of me to save space and weight in my checked luggage.
I'm a little less apprehensive about flying alone for the first time now. A lot of my new friends up here on cool works gave me advice. Robert gave me tips about navigating Atlanta and Salt Lake airports and Brenda picked my seats on my airplane for me. I'm just glad my home airport is small and only has ten gates! At least I'll get to start my day of travel on a good note.
I've also found out a little more about check-in day so I'm less worried about that. I just like to know what is going to happen before hand. If anyone has any more air travel tips or anything let me know!
