I've been here in Zion for 12 days now. On my two days off, I did several nice hikes and took some footage. A collection of these can be viewed on my channel at youtube. Angels Landing, which was about as hard as I was warned, Weeping Rock, Observation Point worth the climb of 2200 feet, and the three Emerald Pools. The Virgin River is the one constant in all these, a cold rushing river through the valley.

Things are going good. Unlike Yellowstone, most of the people are here year round, or live in neighboring towns. There are some deer and wild turkeys, some squirrels and birds.

Although hired as a line cook, they put me in the EDR, not something I wanted, a disappointment for sure. Seasonal work is about flexibility, and you'll find great people and great sights to enjoy for awhile. That is one of the perks in seasonal work, it does end.

I think Yellowstone captured my heart last summer.
