It's a very boring polace to say the least. It's pretty small and in the desert. In the summer it's very hot and in the winter it's pretty cold. And it's never really green.
i was ok with the movie once I stopped comparing it to the book but it wasn't an all time fave.
Good weekend here. My friend from Alaska is in Florida this week so we're going to Tampa for lunch. yay!
hello!! welcome to the seasonal world!! i've never been to alaska either, but i have done a couple seasonal places and i love it. anyways, i do NOT think that i'll be one of your bosses... when you say room attendant i assume that means you're cleaning rooms and such for the hotel? i'm actually more like the person that sets you up in your employee housing, cleans fitness rooms, gets to wake up and let people into their rooms when they forget their keys, etc. so i'm sure you'll see me around a bit, but i likely won't be bossing you around unless you're doing something in/to the housing that's not allowed. see ya in a couple months
Welcome to the MPL team. As long as your open you will have a great time. I love it at MPL wouldn't really want to be at any other Princess Lodge although they are all nice to stay at I just am a little partial to the MPL housing and living. Aww! I've always wanted a Mini Dachshund! Of course I want a wolf too, but I don't see that happening any time soon! You can't tell from the photos, but they are actually huge! My friends call them horses!
I'm not much of a picture person. My dogs in my photo album are as close as anybodies going to get. I guess I could hold up a sign at the airport that says, "I'm Ryan and I'm lost" then stand around and smile at people. Granted I think that would scare people more than anything, and probably get me kicked out of the airport!
Oh good I was under the impression we just took it with us! But it's good to know we need to mail it back. I better get on it tomorrow! Did they say when it needed to be in by?

I'm nervous about meeting people too. Hey all that stuff they emailed us to fill out, do we just take it to them when we get there or do we send it for fax it???
Actually, mainly the country music is in Middle Tennessee. West TN is known for Graceland in Memphis, and East TN is well know for Gatlinburg and the Smokies. My towns an exception, though. We're known for Bonnaroo. A giant music festival that we host every summer. I was going to work there this summer, but now I have somewhere better to go.
My plane time. . . I should probably book that. I may have to fly in the day before, otherwise I'll have to stay about ten hours in some random airport just to get to Anchorage on time. When I find out I'll let you know, though!
Aww, TN. Boring. There's nothing to do unless you shell out tons of money. I live in a little town, so to actually go do something, besides see a movie, I have to drive an hour. It sucks. Oh well, I get to leave and go to ALASKA! I was so excited when I got the job that I danced around my house or about ten minutes straight! Hehe
Finding each other is an awesome idea! We'll actually know someone when we get up there!
For music, I like to sing some of the older music like Frank Sinatra, and such, but I guess if I tried, I could mutilate any song by singing it. I'll listen to just about any though. So I've never know anyone with a twin. Do you guys ever try to pull the whole switching bit?
I've never seen it but i've heard of it. It was pretty cool. I don't have a weak stomach so I was kinda weirded out by people who pay to see these autopsys who have to run out of the room and throw up. I didn't actually cut people open I just took measurements and pictures while the doc took over.
You're so lucky! Bob Barker doesn't want to hang out with me. :(
I know a couple of authors but no one hugely impressive. I've emailed Stephenie Meyer a few times but it was pretty generic and I don't think we're going to be life long pen pals.
ALTHOUGH I did meet Taylor Lautner (Jake from Twilight) very briefly. He's my friend's cousin. I went to pick her up for a movie and he was at her house!! I met him when he was in Shark Boy and Lava girl but he wasn't cool then. She made me leave before I drooled all over someone 3 years younger than me.
I am eternally in awe of you! That's so cool! The only famous person I've met is Bob Barker when I was ten. Not as cool. lol
I wish I still talked to my roomie. I had to get up at 5 one morning to go to work on the train and she was passed out drunk and I guess she was late for work again and they fired her. When you get fired you have 4 hours to leave the property and she was gone by the time I got home so I didn't see her again to get her info. lol
I still talk to my best friend Derrick i met up there and my friend Susan but I hardly ever see them. I'm so excited I've made a girl friend! I had all guy friends save for Susan last year and while that had it's own perks it kinda sucked overall. :D That's cool that you worked in one place for so long. I've only ever worked at a TV station and a mourge and they each only lasted about 2 years.
