Ill be swinging thru rushmore in the next week sometime on my way out west to tour the parks. How much time do you need to see that place? looking forward to seeing the badlands.
I actually hit Rushmore on Day 2 I just haven't gotten to finishing the day yet. Hopefully will be up today! It was pretty slow around there wish you would have been there already! I am currently in Westcliffe CO actually.
hadn't heard about the panic show at mile high yet but I'd be down for seeing them anytime they're around. Let me know if you're going to make it to the biscuits show and maybe we can meet up for it. I'm only going for saturday night, didnt get the 2 day pass cuz wont be able to make it there til sat afternoon. take it easy and see u around. peace
Yup... I've worked about eight of them now. They are an awesome experience because the visitation in winter is about 3% of the summer numbers. We feel like we have the joint to ourselves!
That also means that there is very little work to be done and paychecks stink! But, it's a roof over the head, warm food in the tummy, free laundry and better wi-fi with fewer people on the system. Lots of snowy fun (if you wish it) and the people get closer, because there are so few employees and you're in the snowy mountains hanging out together!
I have accepted a position Mt Rushmore SD, Security in employees dorm. I arrive May 27,2009 through Sept 15,2009. See you there. Carol Stahl -- South Florida
Last year anyways, the food service people wore forest green colored polos... Roommates are just decided based on any preferences you might of listed on your contract before you sent it in. They are pretty cool about letting you switch after you get there if their is open space available.
I've had cousins aunts and uncles work there and my grandfather was president of the presidents of Great lakes. He didn't want to travel back when so they hired on others to be traveling presidents.
