Hey Shannon, couldnt help but notice your comment on the kenai peninsula group page I actually am working at Trail Lake Lodge and just got up here about 2 weeks ago. Pretty much everything that
Alaskafound said is true. One thing to warn you about though is that in the contract it says that a shuttle service is provided to and from seward on a daily basis, well that has been discontinued so wouldnt rely on that. But I dont have too many complaints though. Its about 5 of us in employee housing now and we all get along pretty well. What position you coming up for?
Trail lake lodge is a nice little place in Moose Pass on trail lake. Very pretty area, lots of mountains and good hiking/camping. Not much but that lodge and a little store across the street. Only about 20 mins from Seward. Easy to hitch a ride down there. Very fun little town with ocean and mountains. Lots of cool people, and lots of tourists. Its a seaport for cruise ships and lots of fishing as well. Seems like a nice place to work. The new owner is a former Marine so i heard he can be a tad strict, but really good to work for. Can't beat the location. Helps to have a car though out there.
