Hey Kayla- I'm also going to be working at the Courtyard Cafe at the Chalet with a good friend of mine. I've never been to Alaska, but I hear good things. We are scheduled to get there on the 9th but are going up on the 5th to hang out in Anchorage for a few days. We should chat sometime- the more people we know up there the better :)
Nice...the Chalets huh! What will you be doing? AK is sick...I love it. Seriously it sucks you in, just a warning...I tell myself every year I wont go back and then I do!! haha
Hey..what up. I am a late goer this season...I will be up there on May 31st. I am driving up as well so that makes it a bit later. Where are you going to be working?
Hi! I saw that you previously lived/worked on Virginia... I was wondering if you worked seasonally there, or for some other reason? I applied to work at a lodge in Shenandoah Valley and was wondering if you knew much about the area?
Kayla, if you have any specific questions about Denali, like what to pack or what to expect at any point in the summer, feel free to ask me. This will be my second summer after a full year in Alaska now so I feel I know a little bit about what goes on and what to expect.
Yeah it was a pretty good time. it was called the chasco fiesta i believe. but anyway yeah i cant wait to meet all you guys once i get up there. by the time i get there most of yall will know all the good places to go up there.
