Thanks Kari. I do have a passion for boats. I grew up on the water and love to be near water. A boating position would be right up my alley, but I am open for others. If you stumble on any places that are on water in the south, please let me know. Thanks for the help.

Hi Kari... It is going o.k. here but it is all business this winter. Now is time to look for work and to take care of some business up here (a large debt I intend to be rid of by next summer). Next summer I hope to be in Bar Harbor, Maine (Acadia Nat'l Park). I have heard a lot of good about it.
Although I , in the end, didn't much enjoy working for Xanterra, it did me good because I am strongly considering teaching English in China as a result of the Chinese people I met there. They are a cool group of people and they have me intrigued. I am not the marrying type, but I would have happily married two gals that I met. The Mongolians were interesting also....
I am sure I will see you again as Seattle seems to be a common stop for me... Take care and enjopy your remaining summer :0)..
Hi Kari, it gives me 1 1/2 hours; About enough time for coffee at the airport at best :0(. I arrive @ 0859 and depart at 11:35. I will then be on my way to Juneau, Alaska. I wish I had earlier... I can tell you about that later in an email if you want. All is good :0) I am happy to go back to Juneau after 3 years.
Thank you kari, i do hope to start next year, we bought the rv got rid of the house..... then got delayed... but this is the best site for finding cool jobs and i tell all my friends about it. thank you so much for it!

Ha, finally figured out the comment back button! Greetings from Ohio! I'm currently doing freelance audio work, but the pay and view aren't there... wanting to branch out into the conservation or park service arena. Ahh, the outdoors!! Looking for something starting around Oct./Nov. Still searching this "mother of a site"...too many choices so I'm getting my resume in order first. The profile pic is from a hiking trip in the Cordillera Mtns., Batad, Northern Philippines
Kari, you're the best! Thanks for your advice. It's a huge help to know that the focus is on health/physical requirements. I can lay many of my concerns aside in that case. I'll watch for the ads, construct my resume to reflect my strengths in working with the public, and read up on Alaska history. I'll keep in touch with you on my progress. Vroom, Vroom.
Hi Kari,
Thank you for your reply and advice. I have applied at some places hoping that I'll land somewhere this summer. Your words are supportive and have helped me get motivated.
