Thank you! You're from Ashville? Most of my friends go to school there. I think I might even be moving to Ashville when I get back from Signal Mountain. It's a beautiful place, especially in the fall. Good luck to you as well!
The carribean would be wonderful. I'm ready for summer. I just applied at a lodge in Yellowstone. I read a thread that didn't have many kind things to say about Aramark. I'm a bit hesitant to work for a major corporation again.
When I applied I didn't specify a resort. Like I said, I'm not entirely picky where I go. :) My sister lived in Denali for a short time also. She loved it. I guess I want to see it for myself too
Where are you trying to go in Alaska? I really don't have a preference I'm not going to be picky. Well as long as bears don't eat me. I'm excited to hear back, although I'm not sure if I've done everything I can...
I'm hoping it goes well also! This is my first time so I'm not exactly sure what I need to do... any help would be great! How long have you been doing this?
What places do you recomend me to apply in Vail? Probably I will do it for next winter as this one is right here and they already made their contracts.
Thank you. Silvia
Hey! I think that I want to be a ranch hand or something at a park... I have to fill two years of summer credits for my major in park management so I really want to do something fun and different. Wow, you have worked for a lot of resorts, what was your most favorite so far?

The ski areas ought to be hiring in a month or two. I heard Heavenly is a good place to work if you want to be in town, or Kirkwood if you don't mind driving 45 min.
Oh that's going to be NICE! A little paradise before the cold kicks in. My brother and his girlfriend are moving to Orlando - they can't wait. It's so pretty down there. Enjoy your last vacation for a few months! : )
I'm excited for a big winter! The last few in New York were pretty tame... Yup - I ski - although I'm not that great and am gonna take advantage of some of the free lessons in Breck... Lemme know if you're ever in Breck.. Not gonna do much in Vail this weekend except maybe hang out by the pool! This "off season" is a bit slow!
Hey Josh - You're right, Vail is awesome. I've heard of Sonnenalp. I'm staying in Vail this weekend at a friend's condo near Lion's Head. I ended up going with a seasonal job in Breck but they offer the same deal - free passes, lessons, etc. I'm thinking I, too, may never want to leave CO!!
vail, co. is a great place to work. i love it here. the people are cool, the benefits are great and the snowboarding is amazing. vail also owns properities all over the world and will place you anywhere you wanna go.
